Whether you're seeking clarity to better understand a young person's strengths and support needs, or you require a formal assessment to access or review NDIS funding, Mindspace OT provides comprehensive, neuro-affirming assessments for young people up to 25 years of age.

  • A functional capacity assessment is a comprehensive assessment of a person’s functioning in everyday life. By highlighting a person’s strengths and challenges in the context of their mental health and neurodivergence to identify what support they might need to work towards their goals and increase independence.

  • A Sensory Profile assessment helps a young person and their supports to truly understand their sensory preferences and how this impacts their everyday life.
By understanding what someone seeks more of (e.g. touch or movement) and avoids or is sensitive to (e.g. sound and smells) we can develop strategies together to support an individuals nervous system.

  • A standard OT report can assist in many ways including - applying to the NDIS or providing valuable information to school or family members.

“Support isn’t about changing who you are - it’s about helping you become who you’re meant to be.”
